Thumbnail display problem

  Hi WP people.
  Having a bit of an issue with displaying thumbnails in posts.

  Here’s a quick image of what shows up

  The blog is:

  What should happen is those boxes are filled with a thumbnail.
  I’m using a plugin called Simple Post Thumbnails, which I figured would be simple…which it is, until I came across this problem :(

  I considered that it might be an issue with folder permissions but the status checker shows that it is fine

  PLUGIN VERSION = 1.5
  PHP VERSION = 5.2.11
  GD IS ENABLED = YES
  THUMBNAIL FOLDER IS WRITABLE = YES
  ————–

  Any ideas? I’ve tried all the other thumbnail plugins but the same issue everytime.
  Maybe someone else has resolved this.
