thumbnail image placement

    Hi– I have the Chronicle theme. One of my categories is chapter excerpts from my book. I have several excerpts, one for each character. I have added three thumbnails (about 2×2 inches ea.) to my media library. I want a different thumbnail image to accompany each posted excerpt. I applied one to my newest post: “Recruiting Terror.” This 2 x2 appeared with the post okay, but it also appeared as a blurry banner heading, which is where I don’t want it. Question:
    How do I eliminated the banner heading while retaining the thumbnails? Thanks for your wisdom.
