I would like to know if I can have a thumbnail in posts of my first page and a larger image when you get into the postany post on this forum or link suggested is greatly appreciated

Yea use the INSERT MORE tag in your visual editor or use < !–more– > without ANY space in between in yoour HTML editor. Anything that comes in front of INSERT MORE tag or < !–more– > will be the preview and anything after in the actual post. I also use this on my blog. It’s good to not overwhelm readers with long post and it allows the reader to select what to read themselves.
