Thumbnail not showing when link posted in Facebook.

Every day I post the link to my new blog on my Facebook page. Today no thumbnail shows when I do it. I haven’t had this problem before today. I have not done anything different. I have tried on a friend’s Facebook page to test it and no thumbnail shows their either. How can i fix this please?

Sorry but we have no control over the images that Facebook chooses to display or when they choose to flush their image caches. We really only send them the URL of the post, and they hunt through that for the excerpt and images to include. Well as your are manually posing to Facebook and not through WordPress, this would then be a Facebook issue and not a WordPress.com support issue. I suggest you post to Facebook support.

ps. I’ve looked through those links, but it doesn’t offer any assistance. My link posts no image at all and I do have a featured image.

Also, it’s only for this particular blog post. If I put up links to previous blog posts, there is no problem and there is a thumbnail.
