Thumbnail resize

I wonder if there’s a configuration to resize the default thumbnail as it looks so small for my blog. Any guideline plz.

Which thumbnails do you mean? The Flickr widget, the VodPod widget, or the movie posters in your posts? You can’t change the sizes of the widgets. For the images in your blog you can use the height and width attributes, or the visual editor.

Yes, the thumbnails used in the posts and pages. If there is a way to handle this automatically through our dashboard or any cofig rather than to manually resize them?
    Thx

I would imagine that the size of thumbnails could be set in CSS, but I’m frankly guessing. You can change them manually in either visual or code editor; I find it’s best to set a particular width, say 150 pixels, and every image resize to that. Since I use the visual editor, it keeps the aspect ratio and I don’t have to change the height. I send to editor Full Size, click on it, click on the image icon, type in alignment, horizontal space, and 150 wide and hit Update.

Yes, sure; and that is called MANUAL! :)

thumbnail image size setting would be gold as the default is just way too impractical and small. Who wants to manually change every image? It’s absurd.

The reason it’s that small is to protect you against being sued. Thumbnail images that size have been accepted in court as “fair use” and thus have become a standard.
