Thumbnail size

  Hey,
  While adding a featured image to my post, I wanted to ensure that the image also fits the thumbnail that shows along with the title of the post. However, when I upload any picture, the thumbnail often zooms in on the featured image. I have also checked out the ‘media’ option in ‘settings’ where I tried to change the thumbnail size but the issue remains the same.

  Hi there,

  I’ve take a look at your site but I am not sure where I can best see this “zooming in” issue you are referring to. Can you share a link to a page or post that shows your Featured Image thumbnail so we can take a closer look?

  I’m not seeing any issue with the image for that post, so I’m not sure what the problem is: screenshot

  Could you take a few screenshots of what you’re seeing (including what the image looks like before the “zooming”) so we can all be on the same page? If you’re not familiar with how to take a screenshot, this support document will help explain how to make one:

  Take a Screenshot

  Then, use a service like Snipboard.io to upload the screenshot and then share the image link from that service here and we’ll take a closer look. Or, you can upload those screenshots to your Media Library if you prefer.

  The issue is with the thumbnail of the post. If I attach a featured image to any post, the thumbnail gets cropped. There are no issues with the featured image that appears on the post itself. I can see the full image there. I hope I have made it clear. Regarding screenshot, I’m not sure how to attach them here. I’m sending you the link of the page again. https://musersblissblog.wordpress.com/book-reviews/
  When you open this page, click load more at the bottom of the page and you will be able to see the post previously mentioned. It is the only post there that has a thumbnail so you can easily find it. I want the full image for the thumbnail.

  Thanks for clarifying. It looks like that is created by the Blog Post block. You would need to adjust the “Image Shape” settings to “uncropped” if you don’t want your featured images cropped. You can read how to do this here:
