Thumbnail/preview picture for sharing website url on Facebook, LinkedIn etc.

  How can I set up a thumbnail/preview image for sharing my website url (not a post, just the url) on Facebook, LinkedIn etc.? It currently doesn’t even display my Featured Image, and I want it to be a different image…

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Please read these tips http://en.support.wordpress.com/publicize/#images-in-publicize

  We have no control over the images that Facebook chooses to display or when they choose to flush their image caches. We really only send them the URL of the post, and they hunt through that for the excerpt and images to include.

  Thanks, I’ve read that one before I posted my question. But it doesn’t work on any platform, not on LinkedIn, Google+ etc. and I was wondering if there is a workaround…
