Can you make thumbnails on pages all one size with minimal spacing between them?

What size have you set here? Settings > Media
The sizes listed there determine the maximum dimensions in pixels to use when inserting an image into the body of a post. -
The thumbnail size settings are 150×150 then 300x300the 1024×1024.
My question re to size of photos inserted into a gallery. So they are all the one size on the page then when you click on the image it opens up the gallery and you can see the pic in a slideshow. At present the thumbnails are showing in different sizes with large gaps on each page. -
If the images have not been pre-sized prior to uploading them and some are portrait and some are landscape then that’s what you get ie. inconsistent sizing.
What I do is pre-size all images offline and then upload. I then have consistent sizing, there is no loss of image quantity, I don’t waste my upload space, and I don’t have to muck about with troubleshooting.
