Thumbnails for Projects in Portfolio in Illustratr?

  • Unknown's avatar

    Hi all,
I’m new to using the Illustratr theme and to making portfolios. I’ve successfully set one of my pages to display as a portfolio, but the projects being listed on the page (a series of illustrations) appear by their titles only. Is there a way to change settings so that both the title and a thumbnail of the image appear? (Or so that just a thumbnail of the image appears?)
Thanks for your help! Love this theme!

  • Did you try Portfolio Shortcode

    Just add

[portfolio] to the page and see how your portfolios turn up.

Please check, there are other attributes listed in the support document.

    @ ekomloshrobs,

Is there a way to change settings so that both the title and a thumbnail of the image appear?

Yes. You need to add a featured image. There’s a featured image module in the project editor area, in the right sidebar by default.

(Or so that just a thumbnail of the image appears?)

Yes, by removing the project title after publishing it.
