Thumbnails not publishing – is it the theme?

    Hi – we’re using a theme called hi-response and we can spend ages putting together a post and when we publish the thumbnails just disappear – and we can’t add them at all later. This screengrab video demonstrates the problem: https://youtu.be/ff6en7JVHH8

    Is this a problem with how the theme is integrating with wordpress? Can anyone help?

    Hello kingchain !

    I watch your youtube video, well done for a question :) It’s more simple to see what’s the problem !

    And i saw at 0:13 seconds, “Featured Image” under “Tags” on the right part of your page.
    I cant’ see the all text about this function..

    But did you try to upload an image with “Featured Image” ?

    On the official website of your WP Theme “Hi-Response” they suggest the plugin “Regenerate Thumbnails” you can try if it’s make a difference :)

    And you’re still without thumbnails, you can send a e-mail to the creator : “hi(sign at)emilolsson(sign dot)com”

    Hi kingchain – these forums are for help with WordPress.com sites, but since your site is both self-hosted – running WordPress on your own hosting – and running a premium theme, you’ll need to contact Hi Response support directly for help if aideur’s suggestion above doesn’t help. Good luck.

    Hi both – thanks for your replies! Aideur – we didn’t try to upload an image with ‘Featured image’ – just the thumbnail option. And yes we have the Regenerate THumbnails plugin running but it doesn’t seem to make a difference. Of course we tried hi-response support first but how can I put it, hi-response aren’t very responsive…
