thumbnails not showing

  I am having trouble with the media library. The image shows in the full version but the thumbnail does not display. I have tried replacing the wp-admin/load-styles.php, and just about everything else I could think of. It seems the image is linked to my blogs.dir folder but does not connect with the thumbnail file.

  any help will be appreciated.
