Thumbnails too small
-
The thumbnails are so small (150 px) the image can not be seen. There isn’t an easy option to change it. Would youj provide an option to make a second thumbnail size 250 px wide? If not, tell me an easy way to make them large enough to use.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

The medium sized images are about that size, so we should be able to make those work for you.
Could you send me a link to a page where you are using the too small thumbnails? From there I can give you specific instructions on how to make the images larger.

Sorry I can’t as I don’t use them. It is for another WP user I follow at http://lifeinaphotograph.com/2015/03/24/haunted/ for example. He is using th standard thumbnail size. I would like to know how to arrange thumbs of a reasonable size (250px) for myself in a grid on a post with captions.

Thanks!
Here’s how to fix that.- Open the post in edit mode
- Click on the gallery
- Click the pencil icon
- In the gallery settings on the right change the size option from thumbnail to medium and resave the post.
Let me know if you (or he) have any questions about that!

I could try thumbs in a grid on this page https://port4u.wordpress.com/2015/03/27/jon-l-seagull/ . I tried using a gallery but the spacing was terrible and it came in without captions. I want 2 at a time to fill the column with captions.

If you don’t like the way the gallery looks, the next thing to try is resizing the images and aligning them, alternating left and right.
Right now the images are set to the “large” size. In order to have two on a row you’ll need to reset the size to medium. While you are editing the size, you can also set the first image to align left, the second one to align right, the third one to align left and so on.
If the images are still too large to sit side by side correctly, let me know and we will try something else.
