thumnail clicked = WordPress closed!

  I put a thumbnail in a post.
  If the viewer clicks on the thumbnail, a new window opens.
  If he closes that, he gets out of WordPress.

  This happens even right here. If I close this form where I am writing now, WordPress closes and I will have to log back in……
  unless I remember that I should click on “Go to” at the top
