Hi there. iframe codes are not allowed on WordPress.com for security reasons. As far as I know there’s no other way to add a ticker to a WordPress.com site.

Thanks for the update!
I have some questions:
My wordpress page has been created on a free wordpress template. Is there a way to buy a new wordpress template in order to to add a tickers, widgets, etc .including all functions and applications?
If I buy a domain name and hosting from a hosting company, then can I import my wordpress.com under this domain name and have all functions, applications, etc.?
Please advise!
Thanks

Hello again. To use this type of functionality you’ll need to set up a self-hosted site, yes. You’ll first need to buy a custom domain and hosting, and then install the WordPress.ORG software, as well as either a free or premium WordPress.org theme, to that domain. The WordPress.org support site lists several hosting providers that specifically supports the WordPress.org software.
http://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/
http://wordpress.org/hosting/Your current theme, Big Brother, is also available for self-hosted sites. You can find the self-hosted version here: https://public-api.wordpress.com/rest/v1/themes/download/big-brother.zip
Once you’ve set up your self-hosted site, you can transfer your content over there with the export/import functions under Tools in the WP-Admin dashboard. You can transfer your followers, and gain access to a number of WordPress.com features via the Jetpack plugin.

http://jetpack.me/You’ll probably need other plugins besides Jetpack to get certain features available in WordPress.com, but with the right plugins you can get all the functionality you have on WordPress.com, and then some. You’ll need to visit the WordPress.org support forums for help with that, as well as any other issues regarding self-hosted sites.

https://wordpress.org/support/Note that you can also buy the Guided Transfer upgrade. With that once-off upgrade a staff member will help you with this entire process if you don’t feel up to doing it all yourself. http://support.wordpress.com/guided-transfer/
