Tieing blog into major search engines such as Google????

  Can anyone help me on how to get my generalrufusbarringer.wordpress.com blog to tie into my domain I purchased at WordPress.com. The domain I purchased is generalrufusbarringer.com. I want to know how to get Google and other search engines (Firefox, Explorer, etc.) to recognize my domain and blog? Any ideas?

  Did you buy domain mapping as well? Then just wait. Your new URL will be indexed eventually; it takes up to seven weeks. The more you blog, the faster it happens.

  i will have to check to see if i bought domain mapping. I may have just bought the domain name–$10-13? Thanks for your response.
