Tightening up top space
-
Greetings,
Very limited CSS knowledge here. Where in the sheet and I able to tighten up the space between my image and the links above, up to the title? I want to do away with that whole vertical waste of space. I want my image as close to the top as possible.
Thanks!

If you are talking about this site, http://pmilne.wordpress.com/ , then it appears you found your answer.

Ha…no. Funny, when I posted it asked me what site was in question. The site is http://castironcoffee.com

Ok, lets make believe for a minute that I have purchased that upgrade. How would I get rid of all that space, editing the CSS sheet?

That space is where you site description (tagline) would be if you were using one. This nukes the site description div.
#site-description { display: none; } -

I upgraded to the package and got some of the space gone. Sure would like to raise that image up higher on the page. There still seems to be a bit of white space. Thoughts?

First off at wordpress.com, do not paste the entire stylesheet into the CSS edit window, otherwise you can run into all sorts of problems. Paste it into a plain text file for reference and then put only the specific selectors and the specific declarations you are adding or changing into the CSS edit window and make sure that “add to existing…” is selected before saving.
Empty the CSS edit window, put in what I gave you above and then add the following.
.home .entry-content { margin-top: -13px; } -

Ahhh..yes, I missed that important note. Again, many thanks for the patience with a newbie. ;)
