‘Til recently I administered a web site composed of simple html pages and a main interface composed of frames … something like 11 frames … I preferred using frames since it would allow me to work the main interface page as if it were composed of sections. Which meant that I could maintain, repair and update it accordingly and without having to do it extensively to the entire main page. At the 800×600 video definition, this main frame would fulfill the entire screen … for the higher definitions it would be scaled down accordingly (yes, a fixed size with no full screen option). At the left side, I placed switchable menus (four of them), and the best thing in this design was the capability of just changing the central area of the page accordingly to the visitor’s menu selections … all the rest of the page didn’t have to be reloaded like all blogs do. So that’s my basic idea for the perfect blog.

He wants a new theme? I think… Not that I read the whole block of text; look at the tags. :)

I think I’ll save this story to retell to my great-grandkids round a log fire.
