Tiled galleries change stats

    Hi there,
    This is not a problem as such, more of an observation, so apologies if it’s in the wrong place.

    I’m definitely warming to tiled galleries, but have noticed through the stats they really change visitors’ habits.

    There is a much bigger discrepancy between post views and individual image views, suggesting they’re less inclined to click through the gallery because the larger tiles reveal so much.

    The same is true of the new presentation in the reader, despite the instruction to ‘view gallery’.

    On Nishita, the smaller old style gallery revealed less, prompting more traffic through all the images, or at least a correlation between post and image clicks.

    Has anyone else noticed this? Does it make the tiled gallery less appealing?…
