Tiled Gallery issue

Dear Staff Team,

when I upload pictures into a Tiled Gallery, they appear zoomed in to the bottom left when in the main view.
This error is new and had never happened before.
The issue can be seen here:

Thanks for adding those screenshots. Is this a problem with all the images in your tiled gallery or only the one in the lower right corner of the tiled gallery?

I’ve gone ahead and flagged this thread for Staff assistance. Please be patient for their reply.

It’s the same problem with the pictures of all the galleries in the post.

Note that it might have come up with the latest wordpress editor update as I used the same gallery types on my previous posts and the previews all looked normal.

That definitely shouldn’t happen, it might be conflict between the tiled gallery and the very wide site.

We’ll look into this!

If it helps:
The problem is the same if I upload the same pics in a lower scale (1200x800px)
And it’s even more zoomed in if I set “Link to” in the Tiled Gallery settings to “Attachement Page” or “Media File”.

Hi folks, this could be the theme, or it could just be the result of the tile gallery maths trying too hard to make all of the pictures fit.

If you love the theme, I’d commend breaking up the gallery into smaller portions… maybe 10 or so pictures at a time… and see if that helps at all.

The issue didn‘t happen on the same theme and the same amount of pictures until like 2 weeks ago. Shouldn‘t be the theme then!

It’s not just the number of the pictures, but their shapes and the order and how they all have to fit together in a mosaic.

If the previous post worked two weeks ago and now it’s stopped working, it could well be the theme.

If the previous post worked and is still working, it’s most likely something in the maths with the pictures, and dividing up the gallery a bit may be your best bet.

The previous posts are still working. The new post isn’t.

I just did a big reduce in the amount of pictures in the new post. The same problem keeps showing up.

I need the article working and I can’t change the theme as it’s the only one looking fine for me. As it looks like a bug to me, why don’t you guys just try to search for it and fix it? I will not be the only guy with this issue!

We’ll definitely look into this, but as this is a very old theme, I can’t promise there will be a fix implemented.
