“tiling” several essays within one text post: feasible?
-
I would like to post several essays (i.e., text posts) under one title, with individual “more” links for each essay.
That is, I would post the FIRST 1000-word essay, stop it at 300 words with a “more” link, and then add the SECOND 1000-word essay (still under that same title), stopping it at 300 words, etc., to the THIRD essay.
Each “more” link would open ONLY the one, specific essay.
Like–for lack of a better term–“tiling” the essays under one title.
Question: is this feasible? For example, would I begin the SECOND essay at the very end of the FIRST, or after the FIRST “more” link?
Thank you, one and all…

@4854derrida – why not split your content with pagination instead.

First–and, as always–thank you for your response.
Second: In the interest of clarity–and to make sure we are comparing apples an oranges–I had asked about having SEVERAL text posts BEGUN on the main page under ONE title. This way, the reader will view the beginnings of ALL the text posts at ONE glance.
That, at any rate, is what I had in mind…
If, that is, it is feasible. If, on the other hand, it is not something that can be accomplished I will try another approach…
Again, I appreciate the thought though…

It can’t be done the way you want it. All you could do is either what arcadata suggests, or make each a separate post with a more tag on each one.
