Time is automatically modified

Hi, I am located in Northeastern United States. I had 9 posts in my site and all of them, the date of them, are changed. For example, today is 9/30, yesterday is 9/29. It says that I posted in my site. But obviously that’s a post I wrote the day before yesterday. This kinda problem happened to almost all of my blogs. I have no idea what happened.

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  • Hi there,

I see your latest post as published just after 1AM on the 29th, and several more of your recent posts were published within an hour after midnight. Is it possible you just didn’t realise how late it was when you published the posts?

Otherwise, did you recently edit the time zone settings on your site? That’s the only thing that would explain why the date was changed.

You can also check that your site is set to the correct time zone under My Site ->Settings.

If you want to change the publication date/time on any post you can do so by going to My Site ->Blog Posts, and then click where it says PUBLISHED [date]. Note that changing the date will also change the post’s permalink, so existing links where that post has been shared won’t work any more.

Haha. Actually, I went to sleep every night before midnight. There’s no way for me to post it one hour after midnight. And the latest blog was posted one hour before my writing class. My writing class’s at 2 pm. I don’t know what happened to my time zone. I started with New-York and automatically switched to Shanghai. But now I’ve changed it back to New York but the time of posts won’t change.

  • You will need to edit the publication date & time for those posts manually as I explained above.

You can also do it using the quick edit link on this page:
