Time settings

  I need to change the time settings on my account, but can’t find where to do it. I noticed that it doesn’t match the time of day where I am. How can I change it to the correct time?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hello saracortopassi,

  Changing the time can be found in your General Settings.

  “Timezone:
  Your blog’s timezone is set to Coordinated Universal Time, UTC by default, which is in London, UK. If you live in a different area of the world you will likely want to change this option. The current UTC time is listed to the right to make it easier to determine your timezone offset. As an example, when Daylight Saving Time is not going on, Boston, MA would be UTC-5. You can find the timezones of many cities here: http://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock”

  The default timezone is UTC time. You can confirm or reset your timezone here > Dashboard > Settings > General.

  Go to http://secretlifeofbradandsara.wordpress.com/wp-admin/options-general.php

  There you select the closest city to you in the same timezone in the drop-down menu and then click “save changes”.

  Note that you can examine these images so you see how to edit posts and change datestamps and timestamps where required.
