How do I get my time zone on my blog to match the time zone where I reside?

“Your blog’s timezone is set to Coordinated Universal Time, UTC by default, which is in London, UK. If you live in a different area of the world you will likely want to change this option. The current UTC time is listed to the right to make it easier to determine your timezone offset. As an example, when Daylight Saving Time is not going on, Boston, MA would be UTC-5. You can find the timezones of many cities here: http://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock”

Thank you, in the support section, it will not let me click on the timezone as this is just in the table of contents. Where on my wordpress site do I find the timezone to change it?

The default timezone is UTC time. Provided you are logged in as Admin under the exact same username account that registered the blog, you can reset your timezone here > Settings > General. Select the closest city to you in the same timezone in the drop-down menu you see there and then click “save changes”.

You can edit the posts and change the datestamp and timestamp and click update. These images may be helpful:

I am logged in under my username (I registered the blog) and went to settings, general, and there is no “timezone” option .. just a language option.

Click this link http://tastytrialsandtravels.wordpress.com/wp-admin/options-general.php and then scroll down to “Timezone”.
Choose a city in the same timezone as you.
Click Save Changes.
