Time Zone change not taking effect.
-
I’ve changed my time zone in the general settings area. I am in CST, so I changed it to -6 UTC. However, when i try to publish a post and i hit “publish immediately,” it schedules the post for 3-3.5 hours later. I’ve had to manually schedule the post for the current time. It’s also throwing off my stats by changing to the next day 3 hours early.

Don’t know if this is relevant:
Does this time bump occur when you publish two or more posts within a short period of time, specifically less than 3-3.5 hours? I notice that you published multiple posts each day from the 28 December to 1 January. -
No. It happens when I publish anything. One post, two. Doesn’t matter. Even if it’s my first post in over 24 hours.

Hmm… I did just realize it only does it on my laptop but not from my mobile. The time is set correctly on my laptop, but it has to have something to do with that, I’m assuming. I’ll check it out when I get home in the morning.

If you pick a city in your time zone and not a pure offset ( -6 in your case I think ) – Daylight savings time will be automatically adjusted – a plain offset will need to be changed twice a year
