Timestamp off by an hour

  Whenever I set my timestamp to the current local time, it doesn’t post. However, if I set it to now – 1 hour, then it appears as the current time. I’ve check my profile to make sure my timezone is correct and it is set to -8 (PST), but its still off by an hour. Do the servers not take day light savings into account?

  The servers are set to UTC, not GMT (even though i think the time setting page says GMT). During daylight savings, UTC is one hour behind GMT (so PDT is -7).
