Timestamp Problems, Timestamp Defaults to the Year 2000
-
The past couple of days and last weekend too, everytime I create a new post – the timestamps defaults to the year 2000. The post also gets locked so no one can see it. I searched the forums for similar problems and came across a the following topics (no solution to the problem though):

Thanks

How are you creating new posts? The timestamp shows up correct on the Write / Post tab of your blog’s dashboard.

Okay I just made a new post and it worked but what I did was: (1) erased the post password field that was filled out by default, (2) changed post status to published instead of the draft default, (3) unclicked edit timestamp (which was selected by default). Its weird tough because two weeks ago I didn’t have to do any of this and my posts posted correctly. I think there is a bug in the software.

Again: how are you creating new posts? Step by step please. Are you using the WordPress.com dashboard or an XML-RPC client? How do you get to the write post page? What do you see in the timestamp and password inputs before you do anything?

Also, which web browser are you using (if that’s how you’re writing posts), and do you have any password management or form autocomplete add-ons installed?
