Tinseltown Times – Stealing Content
-
Tinseltown Times (http://www.tinseltownews.com/) is flat-out stealing content from my site and other sites and reprinting them in their entirety without my permission or anyone else’s permission. You can see other users asking Tinseltown Times to take down their posts, but they have refused: http://www.tinseltownews.com/copyrights/
What can I do to stop this? Do I need to get a lawyer involved, or since this site is hosted by WordPress, can you take down their site altogether?
Thank you,

Hi Rachel,
Tinseltown Times is not actually hosted here at WordPress.com. They operate a WordPress.org website, however they are self-hosted (which is different from being hosted here at WordPress.com).
I just did a quick lookup, and they are actually hosted over at GoDaddy.com. If you would like your content removed your best bet is probably to submit a DMCA request. There are a number of guides online which will help you with this process. Here is one which even specifically mentions GoDaddy:

I hope this helps!
