Tiny squashed font in Manifest theme
-
Hey,
Just set up my blog using Manifest which I love – My first post was quite big with 5 images spaced down the page. All looked good until half way down where parts the writing got tiny and squished esp around the images.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Select all in the Visual editor, click Format (row 2, tool 1), click Paragraph, click Update.
For future posts, always make sure this tool is set to Paragraph before typing.

Hey,
Thank you for replying :)
I did that but no difference. Have been wondering if its my Safari being out of date? I looked up the page on my phone and its perfect.
(I will set to Paragraph tho for future posts!)
What do you think?

Then you need to correct the post manually. Switch the editor to HTML and remove all of these:
<div>
and these:
</div> -
Hey, sorry for the delay.
That worked!! Thank you :)
The only thing is that above 1 image there is a line of code – How do I get rid of that?

You’re welcome.
That line of code is the messed up link to the original of the displayed image. Edit the post again in the HTML editor and remove this:
<a href=”http://christianvigursdesigns.files.wordpress.com/2011/11/img_10366.jpg”>But this image is now non clickable while the others are clickable. Which brings us to two other issues:
1. Do you want the displayed images to link to the large originals when clicked or not?
2. The images you have uploaded are too large, but more on this after you decide about 1. -
Sorry, you won’t see exactly that in the HTML editor, but what I pasted didn’t render corrrectly. What you’ll see instead of the brackets will be this (without the spaces):
& l t ; [ETC ETC ETC] & # 8 2 2 1 ; & g t ;
In other words, delete the thing that starts after this:
</ul>
up to (not including) this:
<img class= -
Hi P,
Sorry again for the delay in getting back!
Ok thats done – My page is starting to look much better – Kudos to you n yr clear instructions :)
Yes I would like the displayed images to link to the larger ones when clicked as it is all about his work.

So, re the images:
Some of the files you have uploaded are too large (for example, one of them is 3529px wide and another one is 180dpi). There’s no point uploading 3529px wide images when most users’ screens are no wider than 1000 or 1200, and no point uploading 180dpi images when all browsers display them at 72: you’re wasting your storage space and needlessly increasing the loading time. (I have a fast connection yet your images take several seconds to load when I click on the thumbnails: a visitor with a slow connection won’t sit and wait a minute or so for an image.)
For future posts at least, better make copies of your images, downsize them in an image editing application to a resolution of 72 and a reasonable pixel width, and upload and insert those copies. Images like the currently non linking one must also be rotated 90 degrees.
