Titan Emails.

    Hello,

    Our Emails have stopped working and we urgently need them back working!

    We switched the name servers for the main site however we left the email name servers for titan. Now out of no where we cant access them and our whole business is ran from these email accounts.

    Please can you resolve this urgently!

    For what domain is this? The account you’re using to post here doesn’t own any email subscriptions with us, nor is it a user on a site with subscriptions that were bought by someone else.

    We switched the name servers for the main site however we left the email name servers for titan.

    I think you might be confusing name servers and DNS records:

    Name servers determine who is hosting your domain’s DNS. If your name servers point to us, we control your DNS. If they point to another host, that host controls your DNS.

    For email to work, you need at minimum a MX record added to your DNS, and that needs to be added wherever your DNS is being hosted. In other words, if you’ve pointed the name servers away from WordPress.com, the MX record you have added on our end isn’t active any more, which would explain why your email isn’t working.

    If that’s the case, you’ll need to add the MX (and other) records to your DNS at the new hosting provider, where the name servers are currently pointing.

    But if you plan to host your domain elsewhere you also can’t continue having your Titan email subscription through us as far as I know, so in that case we’ll need to help you switch your subscription over to Titan themselves so you’re billed with them directly.

  • I noticed the thread at https://wordpress.com/forums/topic/titan-emails-stopped-working is for the same site you indicated above, so I took a closer look at the site itself.

    That site belongs to another user, dcmb001, and that account also used to own a Professional Email subscription on the site.

    The email isn’t working any more, because that user allowed the upgrade to expire, and it was removed from the site.

    To get the email active again, that account will have to buy a new Professional Email subscription, so please contact them directly so they can sort this out.
