TITLE AND SLOGAN OF MY SITE are displaying incorrectly

  Hello Folks,

  I woke up this morning to a site that doesn’t look like it should. The title and slogan (my theme is OSLO) aren’t displaying in the correct manner.

  Is it only temporary? Are changes being made to the OSLO theme?

  Hi there!

  Thanks for reaching out. There seems to be a bug with the Oslo theme when the menu is set to always display. I’ve added this thread to the report and I’ll let you know when it’s been fixed.

  In the meantime, you can fix this by heading to your theme settings in the Customizer and unchecking the box that forces your menu to always display.

  Funny… the problem seemed fixed a little earlier today, and it just came back again…

  The issue only affects archives pages, so your posts page and your category pages. The sidebar should appear normally on pages and single post pages.

  So, that may explain why it seemed to ‘go away’ for a time, if you were on one of the pages that aren’t affected.

  The themes team is currently getting back from their retreat, so they’re working through theme issues a little slower than usual.

  The amount of time the fix takes will depend on what actually caused it and how complicated it is to fix. I can’t give you an estimate of how long the fix will take for this bug.
