Hello @limelightluck,
Ofcourse you can,Just go to My Sites → Customize(Beside the Themes option). This will open up the customizer. Now click on the Site Identity option on the left sidebar of the customizer. You will find the Site Title and Tagline field, Type in you desired title and tagline there. Then click the blue Save & Publish button on the top of the sidebar.
Close the customizer, and click on the SWITCH SITE option on the top of the left sidebar on your dashboard. Select your second site and repeat the steps mentioned in the above paragraph.
Hope this helps :)

Thank you

Hi @limelightluck,
Apologies for the delay in my response.
No, you cannot have multiple blogs under same domain name. Each blog is associated with it’s own unique URL.You can have multiple blogs with different domains(URLs) under a single account, but not multiple blogs under a single domain.
Hope this helps :)

So, is there another place to change or REMOVE a tagline? I removed my tagline 2 days ago but it is still appearing in links to my blog site. Is there another place I should check?

@iamjanl
You can remove the tagline from the site customizer or from the general settings.FROM SITE CUSTOMIZER:
Go to My Site(s) → Customize(Beside the Themes option) or just click here: https://wordpress.com/customize/. Click on the Site Identity tab and remove the contents of the Tagline field. Finally, click Save & Publish.FROM GENERAL SETTINGS:
Go to My Site(s) → Settings or just click here: https://wordpress.com/settings/general/. Remove the value from the Site Tagline field and click Save Settings. -
@otpidusprime I did both of what you suggested. That was the problem…they didn’t work.
I found out that the problem was tht Facebook held old pages in the cache. So I had to go to the Facebook debugger page (Googled it) and mess around on that page…. that solved it.
