Title and URL Domain Issues

I had a blog called projectworkingtitle.com with the domain address of projectworkingtitle.com (I own the domain). I also own and had the domain meredithdempsey.com pointing to my wordpress blog. I changed the title and url from projectworkingtitle.com to meredithdempsey.com. I also changed my username from McGirl0523 to meredithdempsey, to be consistent. I changed the nameservers of meredithdempsey.com to wordpress (whereas meredithdempsey.com used to point to projectworkingtitle.com). I changed my primarywordpress URL to meredithdempsey.com.
I made a mistake somewhere because now it looks like I have 2 blogs (where I didn’t want 2, I just wanted to change the existing one. In addition, all my old blog content from projectwordkingtitle.com is no longer visible and meredithdempsey.com is no longer working as it says there are too many redirects linked to the domain. Can you please advise what I can do? I just wanted to change the url and title of my blog to meredithdempsey.com. I really appreciate your assistance to see if I can recover my content and have the title and url of my blog to be meredithdempsey.com. Thanks, Meredith
