Title description: change color of one word?

  • Unknown's avatar

    Good Morning!

I just switched to the elegant grunge theme. I’m wondering if it is possible to change the color of just one word in the title description? If you look at my blog description I would like the word “miraculous” to be green. I can change the whole title to be green but not sure if there is a way to change just the one word on a .com wordpress site. I do have the CSS upgrade. Mostly I just don’t want to keep on looking for solutions if it is impossible.

    Thanks in advance!

No, that is not possible, not even with the CSS upgrade as far as I know.

You can create a 956×160 png incorporating the title and the tagline (styled any way you like), upload it in Appearance>Header, and set the “Display Text” option to No.

Ah, didn’t even think of that Panos, thanks. It is obviously time to go to bed.

Ah, and I didn’t think of the other thing: since Brenda has the CSS upgrade, she’ll have to add the image to the CSS, not in Appearance>Header.

Thanks so much! I may decide to do a customized header when I get the time. Mostly I just wanted to make sure that there wasn’t an easy code solution.

    Thanks!
