Title erased & Author changes when I change the date on a draft

  When I change the date on post (Draft or Pending), the title is erased AND the author changes to Chet (we’re both Administrators).

  More info: this happens only when I edit a post’s descriptors from the POSTS menu, not when I edit the actual post.

  I did the usual clear the cache and restart. No joy.

  Hi there,

  I just took a look at your account and while doing some testing I wasn’t able to replicate the issue which you described. Does it happen each time you make a change to the date via the Posts screen, or is it intermittent?

  To clarify, the steps I took was to use the Quick Edit feature, then changed the date (making sure that I didn’t edit any of the other fields). When I clicked Save, these were the before and after results:

  Also, let me know if you are working on IE by any chance, as it can sometimes cause fields to be cleared. Thanks!

  I am editing in IE Explorer.

  I do not know if this is intermittent. It happened several times, with ugly results, so I stopped. I will create some test posts to experiment, and do so on another computer using Firefox.
