Title Font Size
-
Hi there
Does anyone know how to change the font size of the title that comes with the body text without altering the size of the main heading please?
Thank you!
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

All CSS editing is theme specific editing. Your blog is private so Volunteers cannot view it and you did not state which theme you are working with. Would you like to do that now?

I have just unlocked the site which is still under construction. The titles should now appear (with no body text). The theme I am using is Penscrtach.
Thank you for the help!!!

Hi there,
You can try the following block of code, entered into the CSS tab of your site customizer here: https://wordpress.com/customize
Here is the code to paste in:
h1.entry-title { font-size: 30px !important; }If you like you can tweak that size value (30px) to find what works for you. Feel free to experiment, and be sure to save your changes when you are done.
Cheers!

Hi again
I’m completely new to WordPress and the block of code you provided was simple and easy to use and worked! Thank you so much.
Is it possible to us a similar block of code to enable the font of all my body text to be Sorts Mill Goudy please?
Kind wishes

Hi there,
Glad that worked for you. :)
Regarding your font question, you can use the following:
body { font-family: sorts-mill-goudy, sorts-mill-goudy-1, sorts-mill-goudy-2 !important; }One thing to be aware of is that this code is very heavy-handed in that every font on your site will be in Sorts Mill Goudy, period.
The !important declaration overrides the fonts you set in the Fonts tab in the customizer, so can’t really use the Fonts tab while this rule is in place if you want to make changes later.
Hope that helps!
