Title for music in audio player
-
Hello, I have searched the forums and FAQ but I find no mention of how to insert a title into the audio player. For example, when I insert [audio song.mp3], I’ll just get the Speaker and play symbol. When a person clicks on the play symbol, it would expand and the song would start playing. There would the the “Buffering” alert and the timing, but no title at all! Is there a way to insert a title into the “Buffering” spot which becomes blank after it has buffered?

I am sorry for double posting but none has replied to my question even after so many hours. Is this because no one knows how to add a title or that my question wasn’t clear?
-
It is because there is no way to do it.
The best you can do is put the title just above or just below, in bold. -
Ohhh, so that means the plugin provided by wordpress.com doesn’t have it? Cause I see most of the self hosted wordpress blogs having it.

That’s right, it’s one of the differences between WordPress.com and independent blogs.
You could use Odeo podcast which I believe displays the title.
-
But Odeo doesn’t allow you to upload the songs right? Oh well, thanks for clarifying the issue.

Odeo does allow you to upload the songs through studio.odeo.com as far as I know. I’ve been using it since it was allowed with no problems. There are a couple of approved podcast formats, so take a look through the FAQ.
