Title issues

I changed my blog title but on the web my old title still remains. How can I change the title so that it reflects on the web when you go to my page?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

If you want to change the Site Title (blog name) then the Site title and/or the optional Tagline can be changed on the top of this page at any time. > Settings > General
“save changes” -
I currently see:
Crossing the Dixon Line
A New Yorker’s Walk on the South SideIf that’s what you changed it to and you cannot see the change clear your browser cache http://en.support.wordpress.com/browser-issues/

I did that, and it did change the blog name but it does not change the blog name on a web search. The old blog name is all that shows up. My web link and actual blog name are now different.

That didn’t work. A search of my blog name still shows the old name. However the title on the blog is correct?

Forget about Google instantly updating that data as it’s not going to happen immediately.
It takes weeks for search engines to index content. What attracts search engines is unique content the cannot in posts that cannot be found anywhere else on the internet. Start now publishing original content posts frequently two or even three times weekly. For more information read > http://onecoolsitebloggingtips.com/2010/01/21/omg-i-cant-find-my-blog-on-google/
The process we use for verifying free hosted WordPress.com blogs with search engines is found here > http://en.support.wordpress.com/webmaster-tools/
Note: Even if you do not verify the blog the content will be indexed by search engines so don’t feel panicky about this please.
WordPress.com provides the search engines with site maps. We bloggers do nothing. http://en.support.wordpress.com/sitemaps/
Lastly note that we cannot assist with search engine issues. They are between the blogger and the search engine. http://en.support.wordpress.com/search-engines/
