Title missing on one post

  The title is not showing up on one of my posts. When I look at the list of posts in the dashboard it is the only one with a little image icon in front of it. I assume this is the cause. However, I have not set a feature image for this (or any) post. I do not want it there.

  What is it and how do I get rid of it?

  Never mind.. I went back to look all around the “edit post” page and found the reason. I’ll leave this posted in case someone else runs into this oversight.
  In the right hand column there is a section for “format”. It was not expanded so I missed it many times. It was set to “image” (obviously) and should be set to “standard”.
