Title of blog

    Hello!
I write a blog called theater-words. This title can be seen in the custom header I uploaded–it’s an image with the words written out on it.

Under settings, when I put “theater-words” in the area designated for the blog’s title, “theater-words” appears under the custom header, thus double the words–ie, “theater-words” in the image and “theater-words” in the title.

Because of this, I deleted any words from the “blog title” area; as a result, my blog technically has no title. So here’s my question: Is there a way to give the blog a title (for search engines, the top of a browser, etc.) without having that title appear, redundantly, on my blog?

    Thanks!

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Here’s a word to the wise. Do not ever delete your blog title from the site title line at the top of this page > Settings > General as it’s where search spiders expect to find it and if they don’t you could have indexing issues. Advice: Put it back now!

Switch themes to one that provides the feature of not displaying the both header text and a header image.

Thanks for your reply! Any advice on searching for that kind of a theme? I’m having trouble finding one. Suggested search keywords?
    Thanks again.

There is no theme feature filter you can use to determine this here http://wordpress.com/themes/ but justpi has a helpful post here http://wpbtips.wordpress.com/2009/03/24/header-images/
