Title of my blog is not showing on homepage

Hi. The title of my blog appears on the browser tab and is visible in the General Settings (accessed from the WordPress dashboard, where I input it) and in the Site Identity settings (accessed from the Controls while working on the blog) but it is not visible on the homepage. All I can see is my tagline. The theme I’m using is Sinatra. Did I do something wrong when setting up, or do I need a plugin to be able to add the blog title to my homepage?

That site is not hosted on WordPress.com, but using the open source WordPress.org software at another hosting provider.
Please contact support for the theme you’re using directly for help with this.

Thank you, kkokieh. Yes, that’s my blog site. I sent another question a few days ago (now resolved) and received a similar reply – sorry to be a pest on this forum! I’ll try the links you kindly provided for wordpress.org.
