Title of Posts in WordPress Reader get "stuck" when using keyboard shortcuts
-
When reading posts via the WordPress Reader, showing one post at a time, and using J, and K to step through them, the Title field of the post often gets stuck – interestingly, you can still click on it when it is incorrect, and the URL it leads to is correct.

Thanks for reporting this. I’ve tagged this thread for Staff attention.
Could you also please let us know what OS and browser you are using? Thanks.

Hi strangecodex,
Thanks for reporting this. Which browser are you using when this happens? A screenshot of what you are seeing would be helpful if you can send one:
If you upload the screenshot to your Media, I’ll take a look.
Please include as much of the page as you can and attach the screenshot to your reply.
@justjennifer — thanks for tagging this thread.

Ok – added two screenshots to my media collection – you will notice that while flicking backwards and forwards through posts, it stops updating the title field – so both posts appear to have the same title.
It seems to happen in the reader after hitting J several times to advance through posts while viewing entire posts (not the list of post excerpts).
Steps to replicate :
1. Visit https://wordpress.com/ (while following several blogs)
2. Click the title of the first post in the page
3. Press J a few times – you will see the title stops updating.I’m able to replicate in Google Chrome, and Firefox (latest builds, no extensions).

Hi strangecodex,
Thanks for the screenshots and the steps to replicate, they are a big help. Can you also confirm which operating system you are using?
I’ll pass this information on to our developers.
Thanks!
