title on the header????

  just started a blog and the title on the header is coming up looking very strange…Wordpress has put a hyphen in it so the title is on two lines…. sorry for the basic question but how to I edit it to fix this??? Kind regards Kate Butler

  Hi there. Can you please take a screenshot of exactly what you’re seeing? You can paste your screenshot into http://snag.gy/ or upload it to your media library and then paste the URL here so we can see it.

  Also, which browser are you using? I’m able to replicate the line-break in Google Chrome, specifically if my browser window is between 1000 and 1200 pixels wide. At other widths the title doesn’t break up. I also don’t see a hyphen. (In Firefox and IE11 I don’t see this issue at all).

  Please provide the exact browser and version you’re using (https://www.whatismybrowser.com/) and if possible, also check in other browsers on your side. That could help narrow down whether this is a browser issue or if it might be something else.

  Ignore the questions at this stage as currently I can’t replicate it to show you :)
  Must have been something this newbie did on my Mac when setting it up cos its working fine at this point.
