So I have an About page & I learned how to create another page, but is there a way to have say a page entitled Books, & when I post something about books I just want that posting shown on the Books page, nowhere else….
I want at least 4 different pages, different subjects, and the according posts to go under each page…
    make sense?
    Hopefully…

Please give the URL of your blog when you ask a question. We need to look at it, and we’re not obliged to try and see if your nick is also the blog name (which isn’t always the case).

You cannot add posts to pages. Posts are grouped by assigning them to a CATEGORY. Once you add the Categories widget, those categories will show up in your sidebar. If you want no mixed-subject main posts page, you must set a static front page (see the FAQ on that).

It sounds like you have not spent any time in the FAQ or searching the forum. There is only one posts page – all the others are static pages and you don’t post to them. http://faq.wordpress.com/2006/11/11/a-post-and-a-page/

Consider using categories instead of pages.
