  hi,
  I have a wordpress blog at http://francisjose.wordpress.com
  I would like to change above url to http://francisjose.co.cc
  i tried to add this domain to domains in my account but i cant…
  is there any solution to use free domain like co.cc for my free wordpress blog

  You need to map the domain to your name – you might need a zone record for it to work – check with the staff for that http://en.support.wordpress.com/contact/ – cost $ 12– US per year if you already own the domain.

  A related question:

  I want all the traffic at my old blog (bengalicuisine without .wordpress.com/…) to redirect to corresponding urls at my new blog (bengalicuisine.net/…)

  To do this, WP asks for changing DNS at my new blog, which is hosted with godaddy.

  Will such a change cause problems with the new blog? Can I still keep doing my admin stuff at the new blog?

  @meetsudeshna: If I understand correctly, you want to redirect traffic from your WordPress.COM blog at bengalicuisine.wordpress.com to a self-hosted WordPress.ORG blog at bengalicuisine.net?
