To display my WordPress posts in Twitter automatically

    Hi, I am trying to link my WordPress blog to my Twitter account, such that my posts appear automatically in my Twitter feed.

    Is there an easy way of doing this, without having to download any additional software/applications, etc.? I’m a WordPress rookie, so if you could make your explanations idiot-proof, preferably with a step-by-step description, it would be very much appreciated.

    Alternatively, is there an easy way in which my daily posts to my blog can be manually displayed on my Twitter feed?

    Yes, we have a system called Publicize just for that: https://en.support.wordpress.com/twitter/ :)

    I have just connected my blog to Twitter, as per the instructions on the link. However, when signing into Twitter, there’s no indication as how I can ‘choose the account you want to connect to’. Have I overlooked something?

    Hi there!

    You should be able to choose the correct account when connecting it, if you’d like to change the account, you can do so from My Site>Tools>Marketing>Connections:

    Thank you for your reply. However, there’s nothing to indicate on my Twitter home page that my blog is linked.

    My ‘Marketing’ page confirms that the blog is connected to Twitter, but there’s nothing obvious on either my Twitter front page or profile to indicate that they are actually connected.

    Could you confirm if there’s anything else I need to do, to ensure that my posts appear automatically on my Twitter feed? Is this an issue that I need to raise with Twitter as well? When I’m in ‘Post’ view, once I’ve clicked on ‘Update’, what else, if anything, do I need to do?

    Hi there,

    You won’t see anything on your Twitter home page, but to confirm on Twitter’s side that you are successfully connected, you can go to More > Settings & Privacy > Apps and Sessions and you should see the WordPress.com app in your App list:
