to move my site from a .com site to a wordpress.com site

    Hi I am currently hosting my site but cannot afford to for a while, so i will like to move my site over to a ‘wordpress.com’ site without bluehost hosting it. I am really confused as to how to go about this. My current hosting term with bluehost has come to an end. Prior to this i imported my site here but for some reason I cannot see anything from my site here. Can you please assist me?

    To transfer the domain to WordPress.com, your account will require a plan upgrade. Each plan comes with a credit for your domain, so there’s not an additional fee there.

    Check out the plans at https://wordpress.com/pricing/ and add one to your account. Then you can proceed with the domain transfer.

    You can transfer your domain from bluehost to WordPress.com using “Transferring a domain to WordPress.com” in Domain page.

    Your domain registration and billing will be moved from your current domain provider to WordPress.com. That means in future you’ll manage all aspects of your domain here, including renewal, cancellation, or a future transfer.
