    Hello

I worked on a local site 2 years ago. I saved the database and the site (wordpress folder). It is impossible to restore my site using MAMP …
Could you tell me the procedure to follow because I tried several solutions for a few days but it still does not work ….

When i try to install wordpress It always indicate :
“It looks like WordPress is already installed. To reinstall it, first delete your old tables from the database.”

    Thanks in advance
    Sebastian

  • Sounds like you actually need help for a WordPress powered site on your local MAMP install, not the site hosted at WordPress.com noted automatically in your message. WordPress.com and WordPress.org are a little separate, and that can be confusing.

    WordPress.com vs. WordPress.org

You’ll want to use the forums at https://wordpress.org/support/ for any support on managing your site. Hope that helps to point you in the right direction!
