To reinstate Titles of Articles/Topics most read

The removal of the article titles most read (usually a list of ten) is a mistake, as they provide excellent guidance at first glance what kind of topics interest the general viewers.

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  • Hi Paul,

Could you provide a little more information about what is missing? Our “Top Posts and Pages” widget for your website is still there (and on your site too!). Details about it: http://en.support.wordpress.com/widgets/top-posts-widget/

Was there something else that is now missing?

    Thanks for using WordPress.com!

It is this part of the daily statistical report that previously supplied the title of the topic that ‘s been clicked, from the most clicked to the lowest number.

    e.g.
    TodayYesterdaySummaries
    URL Clicks
    p21chong.files.wordpress.com 4
    commons.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Zizyphus_mauritiana_fruit.jpg 1
Total clicks on links on your blog 5

The previous style of showing the titles of the viewed articles is a lot better & helpful for the writer.

  • Hi again Paul,

Thanks for the clarification. Those stats are still present. When viewing your stats page, if you place your mouse over the “Top Posts & Pages” text (above where you copy/paste the Clicks stats), you should see an icon to the far right—either an down arrow or a box.

If you click on that, it’ll expand the stats again. Some folks like to minimize the stats that they aren’t interested in and it’s possible that you may have misclicked to hide them before.

Please let me know if you have any questions or anything else we can do for you!
