to unlock my domain for another site

im trying to either get rid of this domain name so i can use it on a different site or transfer it to another site and it keeps saying its locked

Are you trying to transfer a custom domain to a different registrar? If so, you can follow the instructions at https://en.support.wordpress.com/transfer-domain-registration/ to unlock it so you can transfer it.

I don’t see any active domains in your account.
You used to have the domain, debbengallegosphotography.com, but you cancelled that yesterday, which means you no longer own it. You can’t transfer a domain you don’t own.
Additionally, cancelled domains don’t become available immediately to buy somewhere else, as the warnings on the Cancel Domain page clearly explained.
I can try to get the domain back for you from our registrar, then you’d be able to move it to a different WordPress.com site or transfer it to another host. Let me know if you want me to do that.

I’ve emailed our registrar to ask them to undo the cancellation. I’ll let you know as soon as I hear back from them.
