Today’s post keeps disappearing

What’s happening? New post keep disappearing to draft status and then reappearing as a published post, then disappearing again. Had a post on voting tomorrow that I sent a mass email to people about in order to help get out the vote, and now the link to today’s post gives the viewer an error page. Ack!

Well, what happens to me sometimes is that I Click Publish and the post saves it self as a draft and posts it self so I have to and delete the draft, but what do you mean they disappear? do they appear for a while then arent there? or is that they dont save themselves as drafts OR posts ?

This sounds like a problem I am having where the posts stay as drafts. I go back and hit publish again only to see another draft of the same subject. How do I actually publish my posts? Sould I try clicking draft? I have a huge paragraph of past drafts on my create new post page. I have looked for a manage page for drafts so I can delelte them but I can’t find one.

-> Dashboard -> Manage -> scroll down to “Last 15 posts” and select the appropriate post -> Edit -> the post will “open” and you can change the Post Status on the far right hand side to “published” and click “Save” at the end of the editor box back on the left hand side.
I believe that in the last couple of days I have seen other bloggers reporting this and similar issues with draft posts. Perhaps these issues are related http://wordpress.com/forums/topic.php?id=4830&replies=7
